Webinar May 16: Partnership Negotiation

Partnership Negotiation: How to Be an Agent of Cultural Change Without Resorting to Domination Tactics

Thursday May 16, 2019
11 am – 12:30 pm Pacific Time/ 2:00 – 3:30 pm Eastern Time

As agents of personal, business, and social change, many of us understand that we cannot use dominator tactics to create the partnership world we want. However our best intentions to operate with the mindsets and behaviors of partnership can be challenged when we attempt to solve problems or negotiate new agreements with people who come to the table with diverse points of view and power-over tactics.

Join Riane Eisler and Karen S. Walch on Thursday, May 16 for “Partnership Negotiation: How to Be an Agent of Cultural Change Without Resorting to Domination Tactics”, an interactive online dialog on how Quantum negotiation practices, based on neuroscience research, can help us be more effective and more integrated as agents of positive change.

As change agents, we need principles and practices that can help us dismantle the coercive models of domination and rise above outdated negotiation strategies that rely on power-over or win-lose models. In this lively, interactive online event, Riane Eisler, president of the Center for Partnership Studies and Karen S. Walch, Co-creator of Quantum Negotiation Certification programs come together to explore how neuroscience-based Quantum Partnership principles can strengthen our daily personal and professional actions of social change.

  • Discover how mindful, human-centered negotiation preparation can support the groundbreaking social possibilities of Partnership.
  • Learn how a “power with” orientation informs both the Partnership perspective and Quantum negotiation practices.
  • Understand the neurology of default positions in domination.
  • Find out how to set and act from an intention for Partnership modes of being.
  • Enhance the potential of sustainable and satisfying relationships when problem solving, when creating something new, and when sharing limited resources with others who may have very diverse points of view.

Whether you are new to Riane Eisler’s Partnership model or Karen Walch’s Quantum Negotiation practices, this inaugural exploration will introduce powerful perspectives and tools to help you be the effective, grounded change agent that you want to be.
