What Can I Do as a Media Creator?
We need images and stories that show what partnership looks like, that normalize and celebrate the values of love, nonviolence, and equality, and inspire us to take action for partnership and a more caring economic system.
Creating New Stories
Partnership media creators tell stories that honor our caregivers, peace-makers, and justice pioneers. They challenge domination beliefs and are giving voice to the full diversity of our human experience. They question old gender norms and stereotypes and offer new visions of what is possible when women and men embrace and express their full humanity.
Partnership media highlight story lines that celebrate partnership values. They use partnership language to shift beliefs. Media that advocates partnership values includes social media posts and memes, podcasts, music, literature, art, documentary films, and storytelling video and graphics.
The Partnerism Movement uses social media to activate a mainstream movement that shifts our shared cultural narrative and humanizes our economic system.
Here are four examples of partnership films:
- Miss Representation (movie)
- The Mask You Live In (movie)
- The Great American Lie – (movie, featuring Riane Eisler)
- Money & Life – (movie, featuring Riane Eisler)
