"Brilliant speaker, writer of groundbreaking books, futurist, pioneering social scientist, fighter for human rights, originator of new ways of seeing human possibilities, founder of a global partnership movement—behind the attempt to capture her remarkable contributions lies what I, as a 96-year-old WWII veteran who enlisted to fight Hitler and all others like him, know of Riane’s life and work.
Taken together, I would say that in terms of history, human evolution, and most pressing now, climate change and threats not only from abroad but from within our own nation—hers is a deeply meaningful story of, and for, our time."
We thought we would start off this email with the opening paragraphs of a love letter to Riane, written by her husband, David Loye (pictured with Riane in their garden above), in honor of her birthday on July 22nd.
We invite you to read David Loye's letter in entirety. Each sentence Loye pens carries his deep love and admiration for Riane with it. Loye beautifully illustrates Riane's personal path to Partnership, her greatest contributions to this world, and why her story in particular is so inspiring:
"For many acquainted with her work, or the dark events out of which it emerged, there is an inspiring, one of a kind sense of history and fulfillment about her work and story. She was and is her own person, set apart from all others."
This month, the Center for Partnership Systems is celebrating Riane Eisler's birthday and the launch of our new name and website. I have had the privilege of working with Dr.Eisler and CPS over the pandemic and I am blown away and forever changed by the knowledge and wisdom. In these tough times, which are the direct result of a global uncaring dominate culture out of control, Dr.Eisler research, creation, and leadership in spreading a Caring Economy and her Global Partnership Movement is what the world needs!!! Happy Birthday Dr. Riane!

I felt so honored yesterday when you told me to talk to SARAH about my little contribution to spreading your work in Spanish. I want to do more. My dream is to join the Center for Partnership Systems team and be part of the effort to promote Partnership and Partnerism in the Spanish-speaking world.
