Exciting news from Italy! The Italian edition of The Real Wealth of Nations will debut at a public program organized by ALL (Associazione Laureati/e in Lingue – Association Graduates in Foreign Languages) with the Department of Languages and Literatures, Communication, Education and Society.
The public program launches off with an international conference on April 15, 2016 to spotlight the first publication of The Real Wealth of Nations in Italian. It is organized and chaired by Professor Antonella Riem, PhD, who prefaced the book with Mauro Ceruti, PhD and Alessandra Burelli, PhD. The conference includes the participation of Southern Cheyenne poet Lance Henson, agricultural sustainability expert Andrea Segr?, Aldo Colonnello, coordinator of the Centre Menocchio, and Mattia Mantellato with his troupe, who puts Eisler’s work into dance, as well as philosophers, experts on sustainable economy, researchers and literary scholars.
The program is enriched by a series of related local initiatives which run through May 8, 2016 via local cultural centers, bookshops, schools, multimedia exhibitions and workshops. In particular, the exhibit Caring Voices is being presented by the artists Tiziana and Isabella Pers, organized with the collaboration of the international literary festival Vicino/lontano, Trieste Contemporanea, Waiting Posthuman, Museo di Storia Naturale di Trieste, Vulcano unit? di produzione contemporanea, and Udine Municipality, as well as a workshop on Talents for a Shared Wealth by Dof Consulting with Alessandro Rinaldi and his group of counselors.
