President of the Center for Partnership Systems, and recipient of many honors for her pioneering work to advance human rights, economic equity, and peace, is the author of The Real Wealth of Nations: Creating a Caring Economics, which inspired SWI development. Most recently she co-authored Nurturing Our Humanity: How Domination and Partnership Shape Our Brains, Lives, and Future with anthropologist Douglas Fry (Oxford University Press, 2019).

Rae is a Development Economist and Behavioral Scientist with over 14 years of international development experience at the intersection of gender equality, behavioral economics, international development and program evaluation. She has developed Behavioral Economics programs on behalf of the Australian, Bosnian (BiH), and Nigerian governments, and currently works as a Gender Specialist with UNDP (HQ). Previous roles include Behavioral Scientist/Gender Specialist with UN Women and The World Bank; lead manager of J-PAL’s global training vertical (MIT), and as a Behavioral Research Fellow for Harvard’s Women and Public Policy Program. She holds an MPA from The Harvard Kennedy School of Government.

Josh is an Adjunct Lecturer of Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School, where he teaches courses in econometrics and quantitative methods. He also taught courses in program evaluation and policy analysis as an adjunct lecturer at Brown University, and developed online courses in microeconomics for Harvard/MIT’s edX and in evidence-based decision making for Harvard’s Evidence in Policy Design (EPoD). Previous work includes education reform and program evaluation at development organizations, including Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) in Ghana, the US Agency for International Development (USAID) in Pakistan, and the World Bank in DC. He holds an a Ph.D. and MPA-ID from Harvard and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from MIT.

Nejem has almost 20 years of economic analysis experience working on integrating cultural perspectives into land-use decisions of historically marginalized communities and improving the representation of traditional and indigenous as well as ecological perspectives into economic decisions. Nejem is an assistant professor of Economics at Emerson College in Boston, where he teaches courses on ecological, behavioral, micro, and conservation economics. He received his Ph.D. in economics at the University of New Mexico.

Shruti Jagirdar is a public policy professional with experience in economic research, monitoring, and evaluation, strategy, and advocacy. She has been a Policy and Training Manager at J-PAL South Asia and has worked closely with decision-makers, donors, and implementers to ensure that policy is driven by evidence, and effective programs are scaled up. Shruti holds a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics from the University of Mumbai and a Master’s in International Economics from Johns Hopkins University where she was a Narotam Sekhsaria and Starr Foundation scholar.

Mirit is a business executive with more than a decade of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, and business strategy in the finance and legal industries. She is currently acting as a Director, Program and Investment Strategy at 51 Unicorns focused on gender-smart investing and advises organizations primarily supporting the economic participation of women and girls. She holds a Bachelor of Laws and Economics from Tel Aviv University, an MBA, and she is a qualified lawyer in the state of New York.

Olga is a social entrepreneur and communications specialist with 10 years of experience in journalism, public relations, project management and development. She is a founder of an international social enterprise SameSport, aimed to promote inclusive sports activities, currently operating in Russia and the US. Olga holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Political Journalism and Master’s in Social History from the National Research University Higher School of Economics in Moscow, and MS in Community Health Promotion together with a Graduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship from the University of Arkansas. She is a Fulbright Scholar, alumna of The Edmund S. Muskie Internship Program and Clinton Global Initiative University, and a participant of exchange programs from International Center for Journalists and Eurasia Foundation’s US-Russia Social Expertise Exchange.
