CPS allied organization Promundo is excited to share the launch of the fourth-ever State of the World’s Fathers report.
State of the World’s Fathers 2021: Structural Solutions to Achieve Equality in Care Work research on care work during the COVID-19 pandemic, focusing on structural barriers that prevent equitable distribution of care giving between women and men. The report provides seven solutions – from the individual to the structural level – that need to be implemented to create a more care- and gender-equal world.
Please join CPS and Promundo in amplifying the report’s findings online and advocating for closing the care gap, a critical part of advancing gender equality. Raising Caring Men
CPS’s 2018 webinar Raising Caring Men, with Riane Eisler and Promundo’s Gary Barker, is a call for positive versions of masculinity, supporting parenting practices that nurture caring boys and making the shift from control to connection as our most-prized masculine quality. This important conversation raised the question, “How do we use this moment to drive changes at the social and economic policy level that will set the stage for a future of gender partnership?”
