A Conversation on Gender Partnerships, Partnerism and Compassion

The Women and Girls Sector of the Charter for Compassion cordially invites you to participate in the virtual conversational event “Partnerism, what is it and what does it have to do with Compassion?”

Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at 9am PDT we will be hosting a roundtable discussion facilitated by Charter for Compassion leaders. We invite you to join us to ask how we can best serve Compassionate Action through the lens of Partnership and the tenets of Partnerism.

The Partnership for a Safe and Sacred Now Initiative (PSSN) explores a new narrative of how to address gender-based violence through the lens of compassion.

We know that the behavior of domination leads to the outcome of violence. If we choose Partnership, domination is unnecessary. If domination is eliminated, so too can violence be eliminated. If violence goes, we are left with the invitation to co-create spaces of Safety.

We are shifting narratives and language at the Charter Gender Partnership/Women and Girls Sector. We are here to remember our inherent worth and dignity, and to do our part to be a beacon of Sacredness in a world of growing pains.

We invite you to be part of a joint exploration as well as intimate small group conversations around the question: “If the driving force of violence and injustice is domination, then perhaps these times invite us to explore partnership? What does compassionate partnership mean to you? feel and look like to you? Let’s discover together what else is possible, as humanity shifts into this new era of compassionate action!
