In the new Spring, 2021 issue of the Interdisciplinary Journal of Partnership Studies (IJPS) Guest Editor Susan G. Carter Ph.D. interviews Sara Saltee, CPS Co-Director of Strategic Development, on Reimagining Creativity for a Partnership World. In the article, Sara emphasizes the vital link between creativity and Partnership Systems.
“Creativity, which is suppressed and minimized in domination systems, plays an essential role in partnership. In partnership theory, creativity is understood as a shared human capacity, a core value, and an essential practice for evolving ourselves and our world”.

“When the wonderful partnership educator Dr. Susan Carter approached me with the idea to do an article for IJPS in the form of a conversation about the relationship between my creativity work and my partnership work, I was really excited. I’ve been a creativity coach and theorist for more than twenty years, and a part of the Center for Partnership Studies for over ten years, and on the surface, these have seemed like rather separate tracks. This interview gave me an opportunity to integrate these two thought-streams by explicitly framing my Creative Constellations model as a part of the larger project to shift our society back toward a Partnership System. I had a great time talking with Susan about how my ideas about multiple creativities, creating as a cyclical process, and creativity as an ethical matrix all support our movement in the direction of Partnership.”
